Tsar Peter — vintage 2021/1

Peter the Great learned the trade of ship carpenter in the Netherlands. He discovered that wood makes almost everything better. We know that too and that's why we named this Cooper's Dream series Tsar Peter. Beautiful beers become even better and more intense by aging in used oak barrels, hand-selected by us.

This Scheepstimmerman tripel matured in Islay Whiskey barrels clearly comes in! The peat of the whiskey is clearly in the nose. After a short time, the scent becomes softer and the De Scheepstimmerman remains clearly present in the mouth, but now with soft and complex notes of wood and fruit.
